India
I have made it India it is really great here. It is hot, overcrowded, and a little smelly. I have had a blast so far I have gone to a farm visit and I saw water buffalo that they milk for cheese. I then went for an ox cart ride through a village the people work on the farm and I felt like a celebrity because everyone was waving and they all stopped what they were doing to watch us walk through. I also watched a man climb up a coconut tree to get a few coconuts for us to eat and drink the milk. I then ate a wonderful lunch at the farm and then it was time to leave. After the farm I took the bus to the ship and then had to run to catch my next trip which was amazing. I went to the welcome reception at the Engineering School of India. I walk in and there was music and then I had jasmine flowers put around my neck and a dot on my forehead. I then talk to some really smart women about everything. They then took me to tables and put henna on it in a really cool design. I then ate food and it was ok but really spice and the woman were laughing at me because it was really mild to there taste. I then watched a professional dancer dance on stage she had hair to her feet and was very beautiful. She preformed all traditional dances that were for worshiping the gods. I was really amazed when she danced on a plate and could keep her balance. After this my bus was leaving and I went to go back to the ship but before I got there I witnessed the poorest people sleeping in the streets and on the beaches. It was very heart breaking and it was hard to watch. After I got back to the ship I went to bed very tired and looking forward to the rest of my time in India.
